• Get a veterinary assistant certification. Please note that this certification isn’t required to work as a veterinary assistant. However, it will let veterinary hospitals and clinics know that you are serious and committed to this profession. • Learn Pet CPR and First Aid with an additional certification included as part of the Veterinary Assistant Program
